Endowment & Legacy Giving
Let music be your legacy. Legacy gifts help build the Kingston Symphony’s endowment funds held at the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area and the Ontario Arts Foundation. These funds, which are invested in perpetuity and stewarded to return a stable annual income for the orchestra, provide invaluable support for the work undertaken by the Kingston Symphony each year.
If you believe in the future of the Kingston Symphony and wish to see it continue to thrive, then please consider naming the Kingston Symphony as a beneficiary of your estate and know your legacy will give the gift of orchestral music to future generations. You can bequeath cash, securities, property, or a percentage of your estate. Your estate receives a charitable tax receipt that can decrease (or even eliminate) estate taxes. When considering making a legacy gift, you may want to begin with a conversation with your family and your lawyer. We are also here to help and we can work with you to find the best way to leave the legacy you intend.
