Music Awards Winners

On Sunday, April 13, 2025, more than a dozen young musicians from Kingston and area auditioned in front of a panel of judges as part of the 2024-2025 Kingston Symphony Volunteers Music Awards. With $4,500 in total award money at stake, there were a number of prizes to be won. We’d like to thank all participants for their dedication and for showing us your amazing talent. Congratulations to this year's winners.
Allan-Jack Memorial Award: $2,000
The Allan-Jack Award is given to the applicant or applicants judged as the overall best performer(s).
- Winner: Paul Moellman, Violin
- Winner: Brodie Martin, Piano
Hannah Robertson Memorial Award: $1,200
This award consists of multiple prizes totaling $1,200. One award is given to an applicant age 5 to 11 and the other to an applicant age 12 to 16.

- Winner: Alexandria Xu, Piano
Bonnie J. Thomas Memorial Award: $600
The award is given to an outstanding string player.

Harriet Scott Memorial Award: $700
The Harriet Scott Memorial Award will fund awards for applicants from each of the Kingston Symphony Association youth ensembles: $700 in total for the Kingston Youth Orchestra, Kingston Youth Strings, and Kingston A-Strings.
