Highlights from 'The Marriage of Figaro'

TGIF opera returns to The Spire on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. to present highlights and plot narration of one of the greatest operas ever written, Mozart’s comic masterpiece, The Marriage of Figaro. Picking up from Bastien und Bastienne from last season, the Kingston Community Strings will touch on the role of women in Mozart operas and in aristocratic society in general. Joining them will be soloists Alexander Hajek as Figaro, Kathryn Rose Johnston as Susanna, Emma Battel as Countess, Dante Mullin Santone as Count, and Maryna Zalevska as Barbarina and Cherubino. The Kingston Youth Orchestra will lend its talents, as will pianist Susan Mander for an unforgettable night of entertainment!
