Throughout the centuries we have been captivated by stories of legendary partnerships, people who were simply meant for each other. Experience two masterpieces depicting generational love and friendship. Puccini’s immortal La Bohème tells the story of the love between Rodolfo and Mimi, and Martinů’s astonishing Epic of Gilgamesh chronicles the mythological adventures of Gilgamesh and Enkidu, two true best friends challenging the gods.

Meet the Music

Meet the Music, a pre-concert talk hosted by our Music Director, Evan Mitchell, will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Isabel in the Recital Hall on Sunday, December 6, 2026. The focus will be on the repertoire to be performed at our Puccini & Martinů concert. We hope it will provide more insight into the program for this concert. Admission is free with a concert ticket and seating is first come, first served.
