Digital Marketing Coordinator
The Kingston Symphony Association is looking for someone who has hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagement to join us. This is a part-time position and a hybrid working environment is currently in place with work required to be done remotely and in an office setting. Attendance at rehearsals, concerts, and/or events will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing assets for use on our website, social media, email campaigns, and other communications platforms
- Assist in planning and executing marketing and promotional campaigns across social media platforms
- Create photo and video content for use on social media and on our website
- Assist in the development of audience engagement strategies, including interactive posts, polls, behind-the-scenes content, and trend-driven storytelling
- Develop and administer the media and communications calendar including online event listings, press releases, social media, sponsorship recognition, and cross promotion with other organizations
- Ensure brand consistency in all content
- Monitor social media channels, track audience interactions for all campaigns, and compile basic analytics reports
- Assist with market research of past concert audiences as well as digital audiences
- Liaise with constituent organizations in the Kingston Symphony Association regarding promotion of their concerts and events
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in marketing, social media, and digital storytelling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to film and edit short mobile videos for social media, YouTube, and website
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new formats, ideas, and engagement initiatives
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
